Hello ladies! I just got back from Centrifuge and it was AMAZING! I totally felt God's presence in everything we did. It was just so...so...well, I'm not sure how to describe it. But in human words, it was radical, life-changing, and a huge kairos. Kairos means an 'opportune moment' or at camp, 'a defining moment with God'. That was our theme for the week--defining moments. Making the most of our time here on Earth. So that got me to thinking, "Have I been making the most of MY time?" And unfortunately that answer was no. I used to argue with my parents a lot and think I was too busy to devote any of my time to God. Let me tell you, Centrifuge definitely changed me. I'm working on obeying my parents now and starting a daily quiet time with God. But that's not it...SIDEWALK PROPHETS WAS OUR ENTERTAINMENT! As in, they worshipped with us all week. And get this--I actaully had a conversation with the lead singer! God is so cool. No, He's awesome. And Centrifuge showed me just how awesome and cool He really is. He loves us so much. Oh yeah...and we did cardboard testimonies, too. It was so powerful you guys. Just words on cardboard. Mine said "I was scared to stand up" on the front. But when I flipped it over it read "But for HIM I'll stand out!" I was scared to share my faith with others at school, on the street. But now I realize that God is right next to me and He's gonna get me through it one way or another. Are you scared to stand up? Then I encourage you to STAND OUT FOR CHRIST.
Blessings && smiles,
anna :)
