a bunch of rambles rolled into one.

I've had lots of earth-shaking, ground-breaking, amazing ideas for posts lately, but guess what?  I can't remember any of them.  Normally when I think of a post, I can head to my computer, start a draft, and save it.  But not now >.<

My computer's still being fixed *heavy sigh*, so yes, I'm at the library doing my weekly post.  Hopefully we'll have it back soon, but until then I 'spose I'll just have to settle for weekly library-trips, which aren't all that bad I must admit.  Books, movies, computer time...eh, I can live with that ;)

I kind of figured you might be wondering what's been up with me (or not...).  Well, if you're reading this post I guess you are wondering...moving right along...

Summer's been going great so far.  I went to Holiday World with my youth group and had a blast.  I rode the world's #1 wooden rollercoaster, The Voyage, and survived ;)  Raced down (what else?!) the Jungle Racers with the other nine of us that went, like, 5 times in a row.  I think the lady working them was getting annoyed just a bit...but oh well.  It was my favorite part of the whole day!  We walked single file with our boards all on the same side and filed up the stairs like a kid-army or something.  It was pretty hilarious.

I've had sleepovers with my bud, Shan, and plenty of girl talk sprinkled inbetween.  X-men marathons, peanut butter pie, and diving for volleyballs in the front yard.  Oh yes.  We're awesome :)

And now I'm working VBS and it's a *glorious music, like angels...oh, you know!* concert theme.  You know how I am with music.  So it's pretty cool :D  Go Fish remixed traditional songs (Jesus Loves Me, B-I-B-L-E, etc, etc.) and made them Vacation Bible School-worthy.  Not only are they catchy, they're teaching kids what matters most in life.  Anyway, I'm working Rec, which has been wild and crazy (but really fun!).  Can't wait to see how the rest of the week pans out.

So...yeah.  That's it, haha :) I'm really bad at wrapping up posts.

I'm baaaccckkk! And not in the evil villian, I'm back to get you sort of way :) I totally messed up my blog at that new 'Template Designer' place. It's one dark place. Just warning you ;)

So, I decided to give Sisters in the Savior a whole new look. And honestly, it's more "me". I like it 10X better than I did before. But what YOU think matters as well, so please, give me your opinion :)

Umm...I turned 15! Although I don't feel much older. *Sigh* I never do. I just feel, uh, teenagery :)

We had a Trunk-or-Treat at our church and I had a blast. My favorite costumes were Mario and Luigi. There were two brothers dressed as them and it was adorable!

I'M GOING TO SEE STELLAR KART SOON!!! CANNOT WAIT!!!

So, that's been my life in a nutshell as of lately. Ohh...and lots of homework. But that's high school, eh?

Welllppp, it's Saturday. I only have one more day left of fall break. And then it's back to school on Monday. But it's homecoming week, so it'll be more fun than usual :) So anyway, I'm spending the day with my parents. We're watching old westerns and eating Hot Pockets. Well, me and dad are doing most of the Hot Pocket-eating, but ya know :) Bonanza is probably my favorite western-type thing, although it's one of the only ones that hasn't come on today! :P Oh well...

And since I have nothing better to do, I'm gonna do one of those thinking/saying/doing things :)

welp...

If you're wondering right now what 'welp' means, it doesn't mean anything. I just say 'welp' instead of 'well' although I've never used it on my blog until now. But it's more "me", ya know? Not that you needed to now any of this but I tend to ramble. I try not to on my blog though (: Anyway, I wanted to ask you girls (or guys...I don't think I have any guy followers, or not that I know of!) about what you'd like to see on my blog. I'm really not sure what to post. I'm thinking about starting a study called TAG (Truth About Guys) based on the book by Chad Eastham, because the guy thing has been hitting me pretty hard lately. And maybe some stuff about inner (and outer!) beauty. But ya know, I'm all about listening to suggestions so if you have something you'd think I should post about, definitely tell me.

I absolutely LOVE the song "Introducing Me" that Nick Jonas sings in Camp Rock 2! If you haven't heard it, you should look it up!

Ummm...I've got an English paper due on animal uses tomorrow. Joy, joy (sarcasm!). And some Geometry homework on top of that. Yuckkk.

I'm super, super, SUPER jazzed that Stellar Kart is coming really close to my town...and right after my birthday! Mom said she's gonna try to get tickets. Yay (:

And you know what I've figured out? Life is good, but eternal life is better. We get so caught up in everything around us, we forget we're made for heaven. So yeah, that thought has kept a smile on my face all weekend.

I was up till ten last night working on an iMovie for Social Studies, and it just slipped my mind. But I'm here today :) And today is my first volleyball game! Woo! i thought she was gone for good this time...

Nope, I'm still here! Well, kinda-sorta. I've been super-busy (I think I've mentioned that before??) And when I say super, I mean SUPER. My schedule is full, overflowing, utterly exhausting...you get the picture. And as I've also said before, I promise the teachers gang up on us. I three big projects due--all within the same week! A 5 page research paper, a science presentation, and a family tree. But anyway--back to the up-side of things. I like to stay positive, ya know?  I got out of school today for GT Vocal! Woo-hoo! Singing and dancing are really good escape when you're stressed out. So if you're stressing, grab your hairbrush and turn up your favorite song. Right now mine is "This Is Me" from Camp Rock. Okay, am I the only one who still watches Disney Channel? So what if I'm in middle school? Everybody laughs at me and says "You still watch Disney Channel? I haven't watched that since, like, 3rd grade." Well guess what? I happen to love The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. But then again, nothing can beat out my all-time favorite--Saved by the Bell.

Well, that's pretty much it. Oh...other than high school is right around the corner. That's a whole 'nother story...

keepin' it real...

Hey girls! Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Christmas break was extremely busy--first, we moved into our new house! YAY! Then Christmas get-togethers with the fam, after that the Christmas Eve candlelight service at chruch (which was beautiful by the way! :D), then Christmas, Jesus' birthday. Whew. I had a few days to catch up on sleep, when I was invited to a winter retreat! It's a really cool thing where a lot of Christian teens got together for two full days to just to praise & learn about God. Preettyy awesome, right? On New Year's Eve we went skating in a whole big group & welcomed the new year with ice cream in cookies.

So all in all, my break was amazingg :):)

But now I'm back to school. Which means classes and homework and UGH!

Oh, and I'm so sorry to you who entered the Christmas Contest. I was going to post the results on New Year's Eve, but I didn't know about winter retreat then. Anyway, I'll be posting the winners tomorrow, after I've had time to read all of the enteries. Thanks again to ya'll who entered!

My dad's best friend's dad passed away Saturday. :'( I thought I'd letcha know so you could be praying. I'd really appreciate it.

And my BFF, Kenzie--well, her back is outta whack. She's really sore. :P

But anyway, I'm having a fairly good day so far! My librarian got my book signed by Laurie Halse Anderson over the weekend! Preettyy awesome :) Oh, the book is "Speak", btw. It's defintely for high school and up. Sorry if I have middle schoolers who read, but you'll be glad you waited. It's not a Christian book, and it has some un-Christian like words in it, but my mom wanted me to read it. It teaches a life-long lesson--one I'll never forget.

And since a lot of other blogs I follow have Randomness Fridays too, I thought I'd try it. This is my second go at it, so if it's not that great, remember--I'm still a rookie! :)

Books I'm reading: I actually just finished Faded Denim. Another one by Melody Carlson--yeah, yeah, she's my favorite author. But anyway, it was really good, although it has some elements that aren't appropriate for younger girls. I would reccomend this for girls ages ten and up. Maybe even elven. I'm definitely gonna finish off the TRUECOLORS series. No doubt about that. :)

Books I'm reading: All of them are by Melody Carlson. What can I say? I'm a huge fan. As of right now, I'm reading the first novel in "The Secret Life of Samantha McGregor" series. It's so intriguing, I seriously can't seem to put it down!

Music I'm jamming to: Right now, Meredith Andrews. She's a newer Christian singer, but she has some amazing songs. "You're Not Alone" and "You Invite Me In" are just two of my faves. Click HERE to visit her official site!

In the World of Blogging: I'm getting ready to start a series of posts called G2G (not "got 2 go" though. "girl 2 girl"). It's a devotion about women throughout the Bible...I'll post more info about that later though...

Writing about: Will and Zoey! Who else? And for my Kickin' It readers: NO WAY I'm not gonna stop writing about Zoey. I'm still working on Chapter 4, and I didn't want you to get bored. So I posted a little bit of God's Will...be on the look out for the rest of Chapter 4!

I'm praying: For Beau, this kid I know. He got shot and he's in the hospital. And Chris, a Dad and a husband, who got diagnosed with colon cancer. And Ellie. For more info on her, check out girlsofhope.blogspot.com. And mainly for people who haven't accepted Christ.

I'm hoping: To get all A's on my report card! They come out this coming week...yikesters!

Can't wait till: This afternoon...my cousin's coming over! :)

I'm loving: Life in general! Which includes...my family, my friends...and most importantly, my Savior.
