anne of green gables makes me smile.

Hey ya'll! I am sooo sleepy. **yawn** I stayed up until 1:00 AM watching Anne of Green Gables and its sequel. It's actaully a trilogy (I used a big word! :D), but I haven't watched the last one yet. These movies are so good--I just had to share them with you! And if you've seen them already, leave a comment and tell me what ya think. Anyway, this is only the second movie review I've done, so if it's not good, bear (or is it bare??) with me!

Here's my personal summary of Anne of Green Gables:

13-year-old Anne Shirley finds herself back in an orphanage once again. But then, there's a glimmer of hope--someone wants a girl! And that someone lives on Prince Edward Island. So she's dropped off at the train station, knowing Mr. Matthew Cuthbert will love and cherish her, just as if she was his own daughter. Thrity minutes afterward, Matthew Cuthbert finds her, sitting and waiting ever so paitently. "Where's the boy?" he thought to himself. They had asked for a boy, hadn't they? "Guess they made a mistake. I can't just leave her here." So he takes her home. On the way to Green Gables, he quickly realizes he wants her to stay--she's so bubbly and full of life! But what will his sister Marilla say? Will Anne get to stay in Green Gables? (Guess that's a no-brainer!) She ends up staying at Green Gables, where she makes a best friend, breaks her school slate over a boy's head, and has many wonderful adventures.

And to find out the rest, you'll just have to watch it!

As for Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel...I can't explain it to you, because if I do, it'll ruin the first one...but they are sooo good! That is if you like good, wholsome entertainment. Which I'm pretty sure most of you do. :) :)

Anyway, I definitely reccomend them! They are rated G, and something for the whole family to enjoy! Look for them at your local library before buying them, but if you can't find them, ask around to see if anyone you know owns them. If not, you might even want to purchase then. In my opinion, it would be money well spent. :)
